It was nos when I purchased the watch All I did is size the bracelet for me put a new battery in it I wore the watch maybe 15 minutes tops then checked it's time keeping the next day & put it back in the box until today Now it has a dead battery that was about 2yrs ago it did run real good Glad you posted yours I will remove the dead battery before it leaks I have many watches & usually use these type watches for barter material among my friends we trade watch stuff all the time
